Wondering when your order, paid by bank transfer, will be processed? Let me explain how it works at Site.eu.
Bank Transfers Take Time
Here's the thing about bank transfers: they're not instant. While other payment methods like credit cards or the online wallet work immediately, bank transfers move at their own pace.
We check bank transfer payments once a day. On our payment page, we clearly state that these payments are processed within 3 days. Sometimes it might be faster, but always plan for the full 3 days.
Important Things to Consider
Got a product that's expiring soon? Bank transfer might not be your best bet. Here's why:
- Your payment could take up to 3 days to process
- Your product might expire before we receive the payment
- Expired products cost you more money to renew
Don't Forget the Payment Reference!
This is super important: always include the payment reference we show you after you select bank transfer.
What happens if you forget the reference? Your payment will bounce right back to your bank account. That means starting the whole process over again. Once processed, you can find your purchase invoices in your account.
Why Other Payment Methods Might Be Better
We recommend choosing a different payment method whenever possible. Why? Instant payments mean instant results. Your order gets processed right away, and you can start using your services immediately.
This is especially important for domain names. When you choose bank transfer:
- Your domain name isn't registered yet
- Your order sits unprocessed until we receive payment
- Someone else could register that exact domain while you're waiting
Imagine finding the perfect domain name, only to lose it because someone else grabbed it during those 3 days. Frustrating, right?
The Bottom Line
Bank transfers work, but they're slow. If you need something done quickly - like registering a domain or renewing a service - pick a different payment method.
